In our family home I grew up with a collie x, then later on a Lurcher joined our family,
it was with him that I first started dog training classes. At the age of 15yr I started working at a boarding kennels
during weekends and school holidays then when I left school I became a full time member of staff. It was then once I was working
full time I was allowed to get my very own dog, he was a little rescue pup crossbreed. Whilst working at these
kennels I got my first Dobermann "Tasha" who was bred there, since then I have had 4 dobermans. I took up dog showing
with Tasha, then in July 1996 she had her first litter of puppies, then of course I had to keep a couple of bitches "Kayla
& Sharna". I also got a white boxer "Ellie". All my dogs attended Oxted dog training club then some of them went
on to join Westerham Agility school, I was also still showing my dobies, even managing to qualify getting Chelsea
to Crufts.
In 2007 I attended a canine first aid course at The Sussex canine centre, Lewis.

In 1996 I changed my job to become the manager at Birchwood lodge kennels in Woldingham, where I stayed
for the next 10years. During this time I also took over the running of Oxted dog training club, which became a very respected
club in the area. By 2006 the kennels I ran had been sold, so I decided it was time to move
on, this is when I moved to Hailsham and started working for myself and set up K9 Solutions dog walking service. I also
joined the Eastbourne and district dog training club agility section and am now a committee member also helping out with the
teaching when needed. K9 solutions has been running now just over 4 years and has become extremely busy and
has developed a good reputation.
